Job Description:

We have 2 positions for CNC machinists required for a growing engineering facility in central Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

The Role

• Producing machined parts by programming, setting and operating a CNC machine.
• Checking work meets quality and company standards through manufacture.
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance.
• Work with other members of staff to meet the company targets for efficiency and utilisation.
• Committing to organisational goals and continuous improvement.

Role Requirements

• Advanced programming skills in Heidenhain / Fanuc .
• Ability to read engineering drawings and check machined components with reference to drawings.
• The ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
• A good level of concentration and focus.
• A willingness to work flexibly.
• The ability to work alone and unsupervised or in a team environment.
• Knowledge of CAD Cam / Writing programmes.

Hours

• Full time - 37 hours per week
• Monday - Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Early Finish on Fridays.
• Regular overtime also available if desired.
